伝統民族衣装であるサロンケバヤをモチーフにした制服で、上着部分とスカート部分に分かれている。これまでほとんどモデルチェンジしていない。階級によって4種類の色違いの制服がある。すべて体系に合わせてのオーダーメイドである。

CAは、制服に傷みや汚れが目立ったり、サイズアウトした場合の新調時には、いちどに５セットまで会社支給品として発注できる。

レプリカ制服ともいえるものが土産物店などで販売されているが、本物のCA制服は上着に裏地が付いている。タグはあるものと無いものがある。

1960s: Singapore Airlines Kebaya Uniform Designed by Pierre Balmain. The uniform was based on Sarong Kebaya, a traditional blouse-skirt garment worn by Southeast Asian women. Sarong is from the Malay word sarung which means "Sheath" while kebaya is rooted from the Arabic word abaya which means clothing. This uniform is still worn by SIA flight attendants today and shows Singapore's shared culture with its neighbor, Malaysia.
